One Sunday evening in December, 1998,
JON and STEVE were in DAN's apartment, upset that their friend
Donnie (aka Buddy) would not come over. 'Buddy's a turd' JON said
out loud. 'I'm going to write a song about it.' So JON and STEVE
wrote the lyrics to 'Hive Folksong.' Later that night, JON and STEVE
gave the lyrics to RUSS, who promptly added music. JON, STEVE, DAN,
and RUSS were so impressed with themselves, they proceeded to write
3 more songs that very night. 2 days later, they recorded them in
DAN's living room. But what would they call themselves? It was
'The Mask of Zorro' and a boy named Jordon Graw who provided the
inspiration. And so, LOS CAPITANOS was born.
